Title: Radar Dot Size With Vista

Hi,

Wierd probelm with my wifes machine (set up so she can play as well). The Size of the Radar Dots on the Clipboard is beyond tiny.

They are almost like a 1 pixel size, just a wee tiny dot. Hers is a vista Machine, and I run XP so have no idea on Vista.

Can the size be changed? I tired increasing the Icon/text but it actually made them smaller???

Any ideas?

I also tried the zoom, changed views of the clipboard etc but the dot size stays relative (tiny) all the time.

make sure you're running in compatibility mode :)

I run the game on two different versions of Vista on two different machines without compatibility mode and have not had this problem.

are the game resolution and screen resolution the same size?

What is compatibility mode?

I use Vista and I've not had a problem with this.

A dot is a dot.  A single pixel is the size of the pixel of the video display.  The game cannot change that, nor can the operating system.

Above is the wee tiny radar dots, its the strangest thing.

Everything else is correct but, the radar blips are just tiny.

Both the monitor and game size resolution are correct (1680x580) I think.

Its just we cant get the radar contact blips above that tiny size as shown above.

I had the same problem with the tiny pixel dots in the radar.  I changed video cards and low and behold, The dots are way bigger.  I thought it was just the game, I got a 512mb radeon card, I was just using the onboard video that came with the computer.  Now I  have bigger radar dots and 75fps.

Just another note.  I had to reinstall the game last week, (not Skuzzy's fault).  When I fired the game back up, I was only getting 50fps.  I had forgotten that I changed the resolution I ran the game in.  Changed it back and now get the 75fps and bigger radar dots.

are both of the computers you are using have the same resolution? If one is set different, the screens will have different size dots.
