Title: dumping memory
Post by: Major Biggles on February 10, 2008, 01:13:51 PM
i'm finding that when i've been using my PC for a lot of graphically advanced things like photoshopping and other games, my vid memory is being used to cache things, perhaps the textures. because of this each time i run AH, it seems it needs to use more and more vid mem...

is there a way to dump my vid memory other than restarting skuzzy?

FSAutostart has a setting in it that will clear your ram. might want to use it just to do that, never mind shutting down resources

Restarting Skuzzy can be difficult after he's had a large lunch.

Hehe Rolex.

The video drivers are at the root of the video memory caching.  Restarting is the only way to clear it.
