Title: Marines told by mayor they can't train in Toledo
Post by: Maverick on February 10, 2008, 10:52:41 PM
Here is the link. It seems the mayor has a real problem with the Marines. They had done this 3 times before and no problems other than the mayor.

A good friend of mine is in that unit.  He called yesterday and said the training had been cancelled.  He didn't give any more info than was in that article.

NBC24 spoke to Jack Smith who recalled that after the Marines last visit, he and the mayor had a heated exchange about the training.

I get the feeling something is missing from the story.
