Dont remember gettting picked in a Spit 16 but getting picked in an IL2 by a 262 still makes me laugh:eek: :rofl

What is the age limit?? I wanted to join before ROLLINGTHUNDER but didnt know if they were recruiting...

there really aint anyone left from that time, I think there is Three left on that squad from AHI i use to be a member back then and this is what went down with the LTARs and WW2OL. LTARs went over to WW2OL about a year before Aces High II, we where tired of Aces High I and liked what we saw with WW2OL, we stayed with WW2OL for about 1-1 1/2 years and came back to check out Aces High II and you can tell LTAR liked it cause LTAR is still here. Salute

I tried it out for a month and found flying almost impossible.
terrible screen freezes ect.

I never said it was any good for flying! But the ground combat is superior. Thankfully ground combat bores me senseless hence I am in here.

Yeah wayyyy back when it was new and for a couple years. Flight model still needs work, and I wish they'd incorporate a few things already in it to here... Like opening the cockpit and running to the plane to saddle up... but tha's just me being me. :aok

Well, I know that many scientific studies have confirmed that the human brain is not fully matured until age 25. Maybe that is why that age was selected?? :D

That said, not all people mature at the same age. I know a 22 year old, who is more mature than some 40 year olds that I know.

The age limit is 25. Most of our squad is over 40. Two of us are even over 50! :eek: :eek:

We already reached our quota for recruits for this past month, but will be having more openings soon, once current recruits pass their 30 day trial period.

We don't want to overwork our trainers too much by taking on too many new members at one time. But anyone still interested in joining LTAR should check back at our website in a couple of weeks:

We are untrainable!

LTARs are a great bunch. They have cleared my six many a times when I flew Bish. Now aparently they like my six so much they keep removing it when I fly by. <S> LTARs.

<S> 125th Spartans my new/old friends at clearing my six!

I wish both squads well.

Once you have signed up for the forums click on LTARsoup in any one of his post and at the bottom you will see a selection for Private Message this member.
Send soup a pm with your inquirery and he will get back with you. Ok I see the problem when HTC switched the bbs the old link must have been corrupted.
