Title: Realistic bombsights
Post by: DaftDog on February 12, 2008, 08:20:36 AM
You can safely presume that the Allies would have a hard time with a bombsight where you had to hold down forever and ever and ever and ever after climbing.

My point is the bombstights in AHII are unrealistic. In real life, you would punch in the altitude, and set speed settings to a desirable delay, or for percision bombing, put in your bombers top speed at the current alitude.

I WANNA REAL BOMBSIGHT SO BAD!!!:furious

Lmao whine about EZ mode bombing.
I'd settle for old calibration method.
Then you'd realy whine.

Daftdog, whats your in game name????

Check out the AvA arena this week they have the old style bomb site there. You also have to mark your altitude by holding a spot steady on the ground with your crosshair. If you picked a spot of higher elevation than your target it would through off your aim.

Bombing with the norden site in WWII wasn't just punch in some numbers and let them rip ya know.
