...a round of applause, please, for two duos:
Fork and Soda. The idea for The War - or for This War, at least - was Fork's. As near as I can tell, it was burning inside his head for awhile, then suddenly exploded about 24 hours before I was supposed to load a setup. Soda immediately jumped in with both feet, and the two of them have run this thing for five weeks by themselves, without any significant assistance, while the rest of the team watched with slack jaws. They have put a lot of time - a LOT of time - into this, way beyond their volunteer commitment.

Truekill and Chapel. Both of them stepped forward into the unknown when no one else would. From watching the posts in the dedicated forums and listening to the commentary when I was in the arena, I can tell you that they also have devoted major effort to this endeavor. Organizing anything having to do with AH players is probably even harder than herding cats, and I would really not have believed it possible. Once again I was wrong, this time in a good way.

These four people were pioneers. Whatever comes next has been made a lot easier for everyone because these guys worked as hard as they did. So, next time you see one of them, say something nice.
