I've got a couple of questions:
1)Did you reduce the resolution to post it or is that the quality of the recording?
2)Does it create a huge .avi file similar to fraps or is it a different size/format?

you can set the captured resolution to youre choice
you can set the capture size at :

1X video size
1.5X video size
2Xvideo size
3X video size

Video's can be exported in: JPEG,GIF,AVI and GCF formats
video compression is adjustable

sizes are fully adjustable form:260x200 up to 1280x1024

this video is File size :146,426KB
400x300 at 30FPS
all i did to this video is record it and export it as an AVI i didnt compress it or anything the video ya see is exactly how it was recorded.

size and compression is adjustable to youre likeing

Guncam will also use the Xvid codec which will give you better results both in compression and appearance.

I've tried Growler Guncam, and it works well, but I noticed a very weird phenomenon; whenever Growler Guncam software is running in the background, even when not recording, the cockpit shakes (or better vibrates) very badly.
It's funny because only the cockpit shakes, not the wings, nor the terrain. The cockpit shakes more if the aircraft is maneuvering; in level flight the shaking is barely perceptible.
Also the clipboard shakes, whenever it's brought up... Very weird and bothersome, had to stop using it. Of course no shaking occurs without the software running in the background.
If anyone knows a solution, I'd really appreciate it.
