so, a few of my sqddies have custom check 6 calls THEY made and put in place of the ones in their sound packs. i ask them how to do it, and they dont answer :( , so i was wonderin if anyone here would, THANKS!

If your squadies won't talk to you why should I?
Sigh
Start, programs, accessorys, entertainment, sound recorder.
Record what you want your check 6 to be.
Save it as "Check6.wav" to your sounds folder in AH.

Well I hope he was joking, I never expected somthing like that to come out of a trainer.
Sorry if you were joking Ghosth, I've met a heck of lot of people that tell me to buzz off every time I ask for help, guess I'm just to used to it and finaly got paraniod.

As you grow up your will most likely develop a sense of humor. Then things like this will make sense to you .

See, thats the problem. I already grew up around morons that were not kidding. Like I said, guess I'm just paranoid now. Oh well.

can i take sumthin a squad mate said and record that onto the recorder?

Well thats a bit trickier. If you have the right software it might be possible to pull sound off a film.
Easiest of course would be to get him to say it again into sound recorder on HIS end and email it to you.

Hey, I'm a person too, an unpaid person who believes in the game enough to give back to it. I'm very good at what I do, but just as human as you are. As such sometimes my humor doesn't come through the way it should.
Or I may get a bit annoyed at endless streams of 10 - 15 yr old wannabe pilots who want to fly without a joystick. As a trainer I'm an unpaid volunteer who is expected to live to a higher standard wherever I am in game. Yet if I make a single joke that doesn't fly quite right I'm also subject to the slings and arrows of gentlemen like you.
Seem fair to you?
Now, if I had just given him the smart remark without helping, then perhaps you might have had something to say about it. Perhaps. Just because I'm a trainer doesn't mean I have to help everyone at any time no matter what.
All trainers have the right not to waste their time on anyone who
is annoying, not polite, or just to lazy to go find the information for themselves. I won't even go into reputation, mine speaks for itself, just ask around.
However your obviously new here so I won't bite, bark, snap or growl at you.
I'll just lay the facts on the line as I see them and move along while sipping my morning coffee.
If the truth hit you hard between the eyes, well sorry, bad habit of mine.
Throwing more truth at people than they can handle.

Wow that's odd. I've found that just about everyone will bend over backwards to help someone out, one of the things I really like about this.

They sure do here from what I've seen, but not where I came from. Everywhere we went we were the new guys and didn't know anybody and just because of that we were targets for backstabbing. I've had alot of experiences where people pretend to be my friend then after awile accuse me of somthing I didn't do.
But enough of this subject lets get back to helping people shall we? :aok
