I was just wondering if anybody could help me with dogfighting, and pretty much everything to do with it.
I haven't really learned the ropes of it, and not being able to play much, I really want to be good, be recognized.
So, just contact me with a time. I'm available all friday, saturday, and sunday... (No school friday) Any time would probably work for me then...
I learn quickly, and am polite.

Not sure what you mean by wanting to be "recognized", but don't expect too much at once. When I first started playing, there was some stuff that other pilots did that absolutely blew me away (figuratively and literally). I had absolutely NO idea how they made their planes perform like that.
Then I progressed into the middle stage, which is a large phase, wherein basically I began to understand what these great pilots were doing to me, but they could still do it better than I could. The further you get into the middle phase, the more and more you understand exactly where your victorious opponent excelled in their fight, and usually you can pinpoint the mistake you made. But, just because you are understanding what they are doing doesn't mean you can do it yourself.
I guess the point I'm getting at is you can't expect to jump too much at once. There will always be others better than you, even if you learn and learn for years. Then again, there will always be others you are better than ;) Enjoy the variety!
If you see me online on weekends sometime, send me a PM and I'll go to the TA or DA with you. I'm not great by any means, but maybe can teach you what I know. Like everyone else, I'm better than some, worse than others.

Oogly, First you have to understand the basics. To that end go D/L a free copy of In Pursuit (http://web.comhem.se/~u85627360/) and read it.
Then visit the Trainers Site (http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/) and read some more.
Then come back here and search the Help and Training Forum for discussions on fighter tactics, defensive tactics, air combat manouvers (acm's) and each of those individually.
Watch the films people post (mostly in this forum) seeking advice and read the responses. Then post a few yourself.
Finally, get with a trainer in the TA.
At that point you'll at least recognize what's going on when you're in a fight and can begin to objectively evaluate your own performance and learn from your mistakes.

Not to be a kill joy, and as aside , I know people who have flown in IL2/WWIIOL for years,,,and still get spanked by novice pilots, no matter how much they practice or try to learn. I think alot of this just comes to natural ability in "3/d chess".
Not to say you shouldn't try to become better.
