I wonder if they left the factories fully loaded, and if there are any accounts of engagements.

A HUGE <> to all of those women who served!

Many WAAC's freet up men for the front by flying fighters, bombers, etc from factories to jump off points.

Many women also served as adminastrative assistants for the US and Britain.

My first grade teacher was a former WAAC!
