Title: Obama's Winning Streak
Post by: trax1 on February 21, 2008, 02:46:24 AM
Well I think Obama has the Democratic nomination pretty much all wrapped up, he's won the last ten contests and has won them with an average of 33% with close to 1 million votes more then Hilary.  Hilary also this week had to take $5 million of her own money to use for her campaign.  I just think that at this point Obama just has such a lead and so much momentum that it would take alot for Hilary to pull it off, she would need to win and win big the next few contests.

It is most ironic that Hillary is now counting on the people of Texas and Ohio to be so racist that they will not want to vote for a black American.

She has now become the GREAT WHITE HOPE!

Lol, the last thing the people of Texas want is for someone (like Hillary) to develop a biofuel.

The citizens of the town of Obama, Japan are pulling for him.   They figure that they can then somehow capitalize on having the same name.

Here are two young ladies in Obama, Japan, rooting for him.

But, OMG, take a close look at the picture they drew of him!!

No one can compete with Obama, that is for sure.

Even when he was a very young boy, he was racing competitively:

He was a cute little baby.  His Mom was pretty good looking:

Here he is a freshman in college being visited by his Grandparents that helped raise him:

Super Delegates

this is billary's ace in the hole

the dumbacrats know that an extremely left semi black man cannot win in Nov. They will not give him the nomination, even if the kool_aid drinking "For Change"  general population has stated otherwise.

You know it.  I have seen news reports of super delegates being personally swooned by good old Bill himself.  They are also screaming for the delegates of Mi and Fl to be seated.

These people will stop at nothing to win - even if it means dividing and destroying their own party.  I love it.

FOX News Poll: Obama Has Slim Edge Over McCain, Half Would Never Vote for Clinton

"If American voters were casting their ballot today, Democrat Barack Obama would have a slight advantage over Republican John McCain in the race for the White House, while McCain would narrowly edge out Hillary Clinton, according to the latest FOX News poll."

Correction, Obama has won 11 contests in a row, Today they announced Obama has won Democrats Abroad.

Democratic Party recently said that Super Delegates from Michigan and Florida cannot cast their vote, which shows that the Democratic Party leaders are not going to change their mind about Michigan and Florida.

Hillary is betting everything on Texas and Ohio. A week ago she was leading Obama in Texas by 11% in Polls. Yesterday they were roughly tied at 48% Obama, 49% Hillary.

Obama is regularly drawing crowds of 15,000 to 25,000, which is more like general election numbers.

Teamsters Union (1.4 Million Members) recently endorsed Obama. Former Clinton campaign staff support Obama. Super delegates that had pledged to Clinton have switched to Obama. Clinton has about 100 more super delegates than Obama and he still leads her by 60-75 delegates. I can think of 8 super delegates that  have endorsed Obama since Tuesday off the top of my head.

As people attack Obama for not having a plan, he released his plans in a booklet that was 20 pages longer than Clinton's. Clinton wont release her taxes and he already did. The economy is one of (if not the) biggest issue at the moment and Hillary went bankrupt as Obama has surplus campaign money.

Unless Obama completely blows it tonight in the debates, his momentum is going to keep building.

What I predict for tonight:
Over the last month Obama has solidified his platform, Hillary will attack Obama as he was a month ago saying he has no plans nor leadership, then Obama will present his plans, point out his booklet, point out the fact that she has not released her taxes, then say she is part of old politics, her leadership is that of the do-nothing congress from the 90's and recent Bush years.
Clinton lost the last debate, I have a feeling this one won't go well for her either.

The guys I work with think Obama will do a Bobby Kennedy.

If the Clintons are desperate enough they certainly have the money and power to do something that evil.

Hopefully Obama will avoid kitchens and people with a last name that is the same as their first.

It's all gonna come down to Texas, even Bill Clinton said "If my wife doesn't win Texas, her candidacy is doomed".  So I think it's pretty much over for her because as of now the polls are showing that Obama is gonna win Texas.

I would not want to see an Obama/Hillary ticket

Obama/Edwards would be more appealing

I would consider voting for McCain over Hillary

Given Bills influence in the primaries in the last few months. He may be Obamas best ally LMAO.

But Hillary is starting to loose the SDs as well

"The former First Lady lost two more super delegates during the day, both in New Jersey, when one switched to Obama and the other moved to uncommitted.

Additionally, Representatives Lloyd Doggett of Texas and Ron Kind of Wisconsin, both super delegates, endorsed Obama. "

If I were Obama and won the nomination I wouldnt want Hillary on my ticket.

simply because if I won I wouldnt want her as my VP based on her reputation of being a biotch alone.

Neither one of them would ever be on the others ticket for VP, that just isn't going to happen, they both want the big seat and won't settle for VP.

Its certainly getting fun to watch how desperate Clinton is getting.

Personally, Id love to see her get the nomination, because McCain would roundly trounce her in the November election.

Obama is a different story, I think his new found fame is going to eventually fade once people really start looking at what he's done.  There isn't a lot there.  Versus McCain...I dunno...it'll be close.  With National Security being one of my big issues, he wouldnt be my ideal candidate regardless of what party I prefer.

Yep... I can't remember many presidents that looked in better shape and/or spirits after a presidential stint.  Even "successful" ones look like they aged twice as fast during their tenure.

I still believe that neither Clinton or Obama can beat MCCain.  Their far left agendas cannot be hidden.

I would like to believe that but I believe that we have proven ourselves stupid enough to actually put either or both of them in charge of this country during this critical time in our history.
Don't under estimate the shallowness of our thinking.

What's really scary is MCCAIN is the "best" selection for this country in Nov. Any way you dice it, the country is going to take a sidestep to the left. Either a huge step or a giant leap ... either way we are jumping both feet into the sheeter.

Problem is. When people think Republican, they think George Bush.
And the people overwhelmingly dont like, or dont want another George Bush.

For Mccain, or any other Republican to win. They are going to somehow seperate themselves distinctly from Bush.
I personally dont see it happening right now
