Be careful! Some folks will start claiming that if an RC plane can do it, the P-51 in Aces High should do it!!

although he didn't try to fly it to scale, that was some of the most impressive flying i've seen....i think my favorite was the four point roll, and the tail slide....ooo..and of course that low inverted pass(it looked like his rudder was within inches of mother earth).

thanks!!!!!!

Now that is FAST reflexes and thinking on the pilots part.  Use remaining wing as Rudder, Rudder as Elevators, and a goodly amount of throttle jockying  :aok

So, meeting you is what makes one a "tool"? Got it.

He did it all on motor. That engine's overpowered, as to the scale of the plane.

Try that in a real aircraft of that type, There'd be nothing you could do, except bail, or Kiss your *** goodbye.

All of those I have seen, other than the little electric. Hes WAY better than I am.
The one with a half a wing can do that because the airplane was designed for that specified thing. I ripped my wing off on my F6, there goes $2,000. I almost save a small T-6 once when the wing blew off after doing rolling circles, didn't pull the throttle fast enough to pull it level and destroyed the bottom of the airplane.

The B-29 I happen to know that guy personally, and he is coming down in March to out R/C event. He is totally and expert pilot, other than hes crashed 5 of them doing that.

Here is a flier if you guys want to come down and watch him fly:

And yes, I will be there.

That was the coolest.  I had to watch that one twice.

My oldest brother is big in RC's and has one of those foamies with the big electric engine.  I'll have to show him that vid.

i like the B29..incredible looking model.......but did anyone notice that this guy didn't once use his rudder? that kinda killed the flight for me, watching all of those uncoordinated turns.........

vid would have been better if they stopped filming just after the landing.

That was my thought too.  Power to weight ratio on RC airplanes is much, much higher than on real airplanes.

Only on that particular plane itself. try doing that with a warplane and see what happens.
