A smoother but more time-consuming method to capture 3D is running it at .5 or .25 speed, then speeding it up in your video editing program.
In your case it'd have the added benefit of allowing smoother and more precise pans centered around the airplanes..

I'd give you advice on setting up the scenes, but I have no idea how it works in the AH film viewer..

cc moot, i wish i had a PC good enough to make this look 100%.

i captured in .50 speed and doubled it in the editor. will be looking to improve the camera shots for alot of the externals.

i too have failed completely at working out the new 'set up camera' options. i will work on it.

Looks like Blukitty had some fun Pawning those Bishops. Tell that pilot to be nice, they were simply protecting their sheep!

I enjoyed the film, mainly because I could watch it in Full Screen mode. If I couldn't have, I wouldn't have enjoyed it. At some parts you're zoomed out a ways making it difficult to see what's happening. Its understandable though, considering it makes a great field of view to show the shot, any closer means one of the two planes would disappear. Other than the zoomed out shots, it seems fine to me.

Great job on all the different camera angles!:aok

Not that I don't enjoy the flattery....

But, I'm certainly beatable... And I made a few mistakes during this sortie anyway; Better pilots would have had me in other words.

IMHO being out numbered 5 on 1 can be as tricky as one good pilot around my skill level.

{...but I just subtly said that I'm as good as 5 other normal players; I think c(: }

Nice movie Bat ... it's looking very Hollywood.... if that's what you do with a slower computer, can't wait to see one of your flicks when you upgrade.  I've never been very good with the AH film viewer myself.

BluKitty fights like a girl............  :noid

Looks good Batfink!  :aok  Try using the widescreen option, sometimes it looks better like that compared to the 'box' look.  Another way to track those plans is by using the padlock view.  But make sure you have your icon's turned on or else it won't track them.  Looking forward to the final version!  :salute

Sketch, I think Batfink figured out the "Setup Camera Shots" feature. It will track the plane(s) for you without the use of padlock. :)

If you read his second post, third one down right after Moot's.... there is the answer....

He most likely had it setup with the 'snap' view, because of how it looked in some of the shots.  Trust me, I have made a few films.  :D  Doens't matter right now cause he will work on it some and clean it up and will look great most likely.  :rock

You fooled me.

Sketch, I did read that but thought nothing of it. I figured he was using it in a context of, "I was using it, but it made no sense and I don't even know how I setup those shots."
