What in God's name is holding the LA 7 together?? When I fly that hunk of junk, it rattles and clatters and shakes like it's coming apart at the seams. It's no wonder the Eastern Bloc fell....

The La is actually quite a tough airplane. What your hearing, probably, is the wing slats. They are positioned at the leading edge of the wing. When you near a stall, the slats pop out, and keep the wing from stalling. This also makes the plane shift around a bit.
109's have slats, too. I think thats it though.

Yeah but it sure is fast. And thats what I like, an airplane that can get you out of trouble as fast as you got into it. Especially since Im always getting into trouble.:lol

I think that was more lighthearted joking then actually wishing for it.
