McCain.
-
is this a trick question?
the messiah obama has promised "change", praise be to obama the magnificent.
-
I want a President who has experience and can be Comander-In-Chief from day one. We're in a WAR, ya know.
John Mc Cain
ROX
-
but rox, obama the magnificent will "end the war".
-
Neither!
What do you prefer, a Black Supremacist or someone who is going to involve us in every conflict in the World?
-
McCain, i dont want Obama Bin Laden for president! LOL
-
I think I'll wait until they both start answering questions and not just spewing rhetoric. One candidate in particular has a cookie-cutter 'hope, joy, love' response to every question and I'd like to see how he would approach today's problems.

Bloomberg

Certainly not Obama, anymore than I would vote for Dick Durbin or Ted Kennedy for President.
McCain makes my skin crawl, but I might end up voting for him for the the Supreme Court nomination factor. I'll see just how well that has worked with the upcoming Heller decision.
Maybe not. Haven't decided yet.

I can't write-in someone for President in my State. So I'm afraid I might not vote at all.:(
P.S. All I can say is if both of them were on fire, I'd **** on McCain first.
-
Obama.
-
If those are my only choices I chose McCain. I feel queasy.

Yea...choose a welfare forum.

Yea...choose a welfare forum.

You beat me to it.
The AH BBS is naturally GOP heavy. I sure their are MANY other forums', filled with 2-3x as many poster's as we have here, who have already cast their support for Obama.

McCain/Huckabee in 08!
You know it'll happen....
:D
-
Naaa, McCain/Rice
That'll kill of the whole race/gender/strong military debate in one grand sweep :)
-
I won't vote for Obama for pres, nor will I vote anyticket that involves huckabee in any position. Huckabee is a moron flake, served best with skim, left-handed milk. McCain better damn sure steer away from including that spineless bible beater in any capacity.

i sense fear in your voice.

CNN said over and over that voters have to choose between race or gender, because people are too stupid to choose based on the issues. That means I should pick McCain, because the media says the issues either don't matter or are too complex for us regular folk.
Actually, I'm going to vote for anyone who didn't start off as a lawyer. Oh wait, that's McCain again.

Pass the ammo.

Chuck Norris.
We need a hairy President for a change:

I'm gonna vote for the one who's done something that tells me I can trust him to do what he thinks is right rather than what benefits him personally.
I'm using Col. Bud Day and a few others of his ilk as my choice's behavior reference.
That puts me with eagl :)

Obama.
Cuz it's high time we had a mother ****ing soul brothah up in da hizzy, yo!
Word.
-
A very, very close friend of mine (and staunch conservative) drank the Obama koolaid. This is very disturbing. Our conversation read like a scene from "Invasion of The Bodysnatchers".
We may be in big trouble here.
-
neither
-
one voted for every new tax that came before him and one voted against every new tax that came up before him.
One will appoint ultra left wing SC and other judges and the other will appoint SC and other judges that uphold the constitution the best they can.
We have no choice but to vote for mccain. for most of you young guys and guys with young kids.. you have no choice.

word.
Anyone worth voting for doesnt have a chance and anyone with a chance isnt worth voting for.
My only desire this election is that Hillary aint it.
Seeing as NJ traditionally votes Democrat.
My only hope is that Hillary doesnt win the nomination.
In a choice between McCain and Obama for me its a wash.
One evil is as good as the next
Both parties are sinking and destroying this country equally
Its only a matter of sinking by the bow or stern

Half BS
One side will apoint ultra left wing judges.
the other will appoint ultra right wing judges.
Neither side will appoint judges that completely uphold the consitution.
Only the parts they like

no, i'm not voting for lazs.
in related news, ralph nader is rumoured to be going to run for president.

yeah BS.. you can make sure the half negro guy gets in. You can make sure that every new tax is encouraged and rubber stamped and you can make sure that left wing liberals permeate the court system...
but at least you will have "voted your concience" You are upset that I am not encouraging others to waste their vote... that I am "intruding" on your ron paul love fest threads.. If you don't want a fight then don't stick your face out there in the threads about mccain.
ron paul can do nothing more for this country but to bow out at this point. He is a republican for a reason.. He thinks like I do.. they are the lesser of two evils.
At this point.. all he can do is siphon off votes from republicans.. I have faith that he will not let that happen.. he seems too good a man.

Thing is. there is no "Lessor of two evils"
There is only the two evils
They are only two sides of a double headed coin
I've stated repeatedly I am NOT an Obama supporter.
all I am hopeful for is the Hillary doesnt get the nomination.
Between Hillary and Obama there is your lessor of two evils
Paul isnt going to effect jack.
Face it Laz. Barring some sort of miracle. in the Economy or in Iraq
the Republicans dont stand much of a chance Even with the Paul supporters.
bout the only chance they have is if McCain manages to somehow court the independants and moderate left.
Cause he aint winning it on the power of the right alone.
And thats unlikely because when people hear "Republican" Now they think Grorge bush. And the people DONT want another George Bush.

or... I can refuse to cast another vote for yet another "lesser evil" candidate that won't stop the slow but steady erosion of our civil liberties, won't prevent the coming depression/recession, and most of all won't reverse our decline towards a totalitarian police-state, and instead vote for the candidate who best reflects my principles. Principles, Lazs. They mean something to some of us.

I will sleep soundly knowing that I voted my conscience. I'm not upset at you, disappointed is more like it. I haven't mentioned Ron Paul in this thread, but since you brought him up, then yeah, he's my guy.
ron paul can do nothing more for this country but to bow out at this point. He is a republican for a reason.. He thinks like I do.. they are the lesser of two evils.
that remains to be seen.

cry me a river, he could've been your candidate. (and yes, there's still the prospect of a brokered convention, so I'm not ruling anything out...) just think, you could have spent the last 6 months helping to convince others of Paul's qualities, instead of tearing him down at every opportunity. it doesn't bother me anymore, I'm just mildly disappointed... I just hope your guy doesn't do so much damage to the constitution that a real Republican won't be able to save it in 2012.
-
grow up bsd.. you knew, or should have, that paul didn't stand a chance..
Are you saying that I am the reason that he didn't get any delegates? are you that far removed from reality? You are frigging scary.
Anyone who thinks that encouraging and then rubber stamping new taxes is not a "difference" that is noticeable is as nutty as bsd.
Anyone who thinks that the appointment of judges is not important is an idiot.
I voted for ron paul in the primaries. it was a waste of time.
But... it was only a waste.. it did not cause harm and possibly.. some minor good..
The stakes are too high to be a whiny little idiot tho now that it has come down to the half negro or the almost a republican.. I will take my chances with the almost a repulican.

Obama.

Lesser of 2 evils. That sure narrows it down to McCain really quickly.

I just got US citizenship last year:aok
I can tell that this year will be very exiting for the first-time voters.

Being a foreigner. I can't vote and will probably be told it's none of my business anyway but it would be McCain. I don't think anyone knows what Obama stands for. Least of all him.
In any case I don't think Obama will survive this. I'm quite sure someone is out there calibrating his snipers rifle sights right now. So whoever his running mate is, will be the actual president should he be elected. Too many people already think he's the anti Chriist.
