These are some of my only wishes for AHII, since it is an awesome game.
1) Please pretty please with sheep cream on top PERK LA-7!
2) StuG III B or StuG III G or Panther (Panzer V) or M10 Wolverine or Panhard 178 scout car or Ki-43 (Oscar) or Ki-44 (tojo) or Ki-27 (Nate).
3) A P-51D that is modled correctly: Do you really think the P-51 got air dominace over Germany by being faster? It was able to out-turn, out-climb, out-dive, and alltogather out-perform the 109s and 190s. I dont care if this puts perks on the P-51 but I really want it. Trade you 12 pounds of sheep cream!
4) 190 should turn SLIGHTLY better.
5) I know I'm being needy, but take perks off Spit 14 and put 'em on Spit 16
6) Train newer people. I am an ok teacher, because I know alot of stuff and I am patient. BUT. I am nothing compared to an actual AHII trainer.
I ask that if the user has any experience under 3 weeks you give them a message that says "We would appreciate if you went to the training arena, but this is a request, not a requirement.

7) No more sheep. Please. I once had 7 kills in an F4U-4 and I ran outta fuel on my return trip. I crashed on one hell of a sheep. I died. Also, see the New Zealand movie "Black Sheep". Its not about the Corsair pilots, its about crazed sheep eating people. Very graphic.
8) Bomber machine guns = Wth??!! All of the guns fire at exactly the same time. I dont have alot of a problem this, but i would like it if the remaining guns had a 2 second delay and not ALL of them fired. :aok

1) There is no real reason to perk the La-7 and you have not given any reason was to why it should be perked.
3) So your have real life experience flying a P-51 and know for sure that it's not modeled correctly ? There are some P-51 pilots in here that can and do kill anything in their path ... the reason is that they know HOW to fly the P-51. If 190s and 109s are handing you your lunch ... then you don't really know how to fight the P-51.
4) Again ... you have some real life experience flying a 190 and know for a fact that it turns better than what is presented in the game ?
5) The Spit XIV is a dominate fighter ... it deserves to be perked. The Spit XVI is not a dominate fighter ... yes, a lot of people fly it, but it is just a vulnerable as any other Spit. You having problems with the Spit XVI killing you all the time ?
6) People would still only take advantage of Training if they WANT to ... you can't force it down their throats.
7) Something else killed you ... it wasn't the sheep.
8) Bombers in real life had all guns manned ... when flying a buff in AH, you don't have that luxury ... hence the need to have all guns on the target that the gunner is firing at.
Why the need for a delay ? ... are you constantly getting ripped apart by buffs ?

Yeah it's kinda dumb with the sheep.....they'll stop a panzer dead.
And in control setup...there is a "fire gun" vs. "fire all" Helps if your using a two stage trigger

No, it was not.
And, for your information, the P51 did not gain air dominance over Germany. Constant Allied bombing raids that killed Germany's manufacturing ability, and the combination of having to fight two countries (the US and the USSR) that could put planes into the air faster than German pilots could shoot them down (which they did very well) gained air dominance over Germany.

Your both wrong.The reason why Germany did not succeed is because they allowed themselves to be led by a Corpral into battle.

Horribly wrong. Motherland is correct. Don't know who taught you what you know about WWII, but you should check what they said. And even though the 51D didnt gain air dominince it helped the Allied bombers gain it (am I right? Thought I heard that somewhere).

I like the P-51 as much as the next guy; check out the P-51 Thread: 'Oh my god, the pony is awful!' thread and you can see th massive amounts of data collected there.
Like the Spitfire is in Britain and even here in Canada, the P-51 is overrated in the U.S. It was great but it wasn't God. If anything, the P-47 was the fighter that broke the Luftwaffe's back and the Mustang kept it broken.
I don't like biased opinions; they smell of retardation. Not that you're retarded, it's the media that is... shoving that bs down your throat. A good example was Dogfights on the History Channel. They stated that the P-47 had the heaviest gun armament of any fighter in WWII... well then, I guess the Fw190, Bf109 and Spitfire VC weren't fighters then....
Gah. Media smells.

As for the pony and the air supiriority issue. The P51d is a very capable fighter, what it was able to do that the others were not was range. The P51 was able to escort BOMBERS farther than any other allied fighter at the time, allowing the BOMBERS to do there job. By the time the P51d was involved in the war our supiriority was in experienced pilots and the fact that the Luftwaffe (spelling) had been severly spanked and flying with relativly inexperienced pilots. The fact that the P51d was a great plane didn't hurt much either. As for the game modling, I wouldn't know, never flew the real thing, and I am not sure if it matteres, even if I had, Thats my .02

His comment was supposed to be a witty one (kinda)
He's refferring to Hitler, who was a corporal in the First World War. And, he's right as far as losing the war goes, but as far as air superiority goes it was mostly industry.
That and Hitler decided to open up a two front war.

Yup, I have read a lot of comments from American Spitfire pilots that said the Spitfire was a better fighter, but the P-51 could get them to the fight.

Regarding the Spit XIV, its stats do not support your claim. It does absolutely horribly.

If oyu want the LA 7 and the Spit XVI perked then you need to work on your SA and aiming. Anything can knock them out of the sky, even a Spit 1. :aok

You cant read between the lines? He was running in his 51 and an LA7 run him down. Then, he was not able to out turn the lala and therefore, the lala needs to be perked and the P51 reworked. :rofl

I don't think the La-7 is a dweeby plane, but when I started playing I had to what as La-7 after La-7 ran away from the fight when I'm trying to get better through dogfights. That's why I hate the La-7 and never fly it.

Over the years treating WWII vets in vet hospitals I've heard over and over again that they p51 was not a popular bird.. The majority of them said its only flowering characteristic was its fuel range.. Most of the guys prefered the durability of the p47's.
I would say our p51 is pretty darn good..
