I am coming to grips with a new X52. It has been programmed in the game and works beautifully except for one thing: I cannot get vehicles to move. The engine will start, and I can shift gears, but I can't throttle up, so the GV stands still. I tried using the - and = keys instead of my throttle, but the gv does not respond to those keys either.
I have tried to use the toggles on the stick to toggle between Mode 1 and Mode 2, but neither keys nor throttle will work when I do that, either.
How do I get the GV to recognize my throttle?
Thanks in advance.

Hiya eh?
You will have to map all to your stick for the GV's. Go to the TA (or offline) and hop in a GV. Then manually map what you need via the ingame controller mapping.
Pain in the butt, but joystick and keyboard mapping for GV's is seperate from aircaft set up.
If you have trouble shoot me a PM or email (it's in my profile). I may be MIA but I have offline to dick around with for set-up probs.
cheers

Thanks for replying, RTR.
But no response. I still can't throttle up.

Because you do not use your throttle in GVs. Push stick forward to move once in gear
(And make sure mode 2 is mapped, usually "copy mode 1" is sufficient)
-
from your clip board click on options then controllers.
You will see 2 drop down menus at the top. The top one should show our controller.
The second one should show modes. Open the menu there (click on the down arrow). It will give you an option for Mode 2..GV's etc.
Map what you need there. Once it is mapped, any time you launch a GV your controller will automatically revert to this mapping set.
Hope this helps...I miss you guys already!

Aiming it is OK, but the nose bounces if you use the twisty to line up a shot. I still spin out and auger a lot because it is 'way too loose. As soon as this one wears out I will move to another HOTAS for sure. The Saitek rudder pedals are great; I hope they never wear out.
