For some reason this reminds me of those novelty crankbaits that look like little beer cans with treble hooks.

As you can see the same families and same groups keep running washington for years and years.  Candidates are bred not much unlike puppies in a kennel and groomed for public office.  It is not the peoples government, it is the special interest groups that fund both parties government.

Won a local bass tournament with one of those one time......................... ......and it wasn`t even my brand. :)

The thing is, King George III wasn't really that tyrannical.




One of the biggest problems with politics is the money flow.  When a person can enter politics extremely poor, yet leave with near billions (for some locations), something is ****ed up.

I propose that all politicians have their bank accounts frozen til they leave.  They get access to a "Salary Account" which entails their earnings for the year.  They are to be audited at every turn, during and after their time in office.  Any illicit money coming in will send them to jail (but not the spender).
