How about a new plane from an country not currently included in the plane set. The french Dewoitine D.520 or romanian IAR 80 are a few examples.

The problem is that these and any other aircraft built outside of the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, USSR or Italy would have a very limited scenario potential and would only very rarely get used in the MA. It would be a lot of effort for not much result in terms of player enjoyment.
There are so many important WW2 aircraft that are needed for scenarios, some early war bombers for example, that I can't see stuff like the IAR 80 ever getting done.

The D.520 or M.S. 406 would let us do an Invasion of France-1940 scenario.

Wish on! I support your quest for more early/rare airplanes. At the AvA, being early war at the moment, the plane set is extremely narrow. I would motion your request for a french plane, the romanian plane sounds good, the Brewster Buffalo, and the HE-111.
This should ensure HTC will have plenty of work for years to come with my $15/mo contribution. :D

It can't hurt to wish, its true. Sorry about raining on your parade.
The Battle of France is almost the only scenario they could be used in. D.520s were also in action for a day or two against the Allies during operation Torch and that's it. Think of all the scenarios you could put say a He 111 in.

Wouldn't mind a D.520, but I'm not sure how many people would use it.
