Looks like a perch. Good eatin if you can catch enough of them. Fun to catch on a fly rod.

Both wrong.

Its a Bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus). A member of the same family (Centrarchidae) as Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and Perch.
