Title: fixing spit 16 flaps

when i try to use flaps on a spit16 it disco's me .  any idea on how to fix it I'm using ranger sound pack. was told that could be it.

try deleting the sound pack and using default and see what happens:aok

or just remove the "flaps" sound from the spit folders

Keep in mind any time you add custom content, and the game stops working, that the first step you should do is to remove that custom content.

It's just basic problem solving.


(Also, note that the only custom content you can have with AH is basically sounds. The above applies to all games with custom content.)

I have the Ranger Soundpack and i never got disco'd for using something that the soundpack included.

Uberslet, all it takes is one lightly corrupted file during the download to screw something up. Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it can't happen. Or that there is anything wrong with rangers sounds.

I mixed and matched sound packs and did have some problems with a few of the sounds that created hick-ups in my frames or ....connection? Anyway, they were being cased by some gun sounds. i replaced them with others and now i'm fine. Thanks for the sound packs BTW  Mitsu, ticktock and Ranger
