Title: damage model
Post by: smokey23 on February 28, 2008, 01:01:33 PM
My wish is that the damage model be updated   instead of the same old "its how youre computer registers damage" excuse. Im sure im preachin to the choir on this but i put half the ammo from my B-24 tail gun into a niki last night and there was no damage he just kept commin didnt so much as smoke leak a drop of gas or anything. However he dinks me with 2 rounds from 1.0 and lights me up give me a break it needs some serious work.

Yup. Blame the software for your inability to concentrate your bullets in one location.

Ever thought the buff gunner might just be better than you?

;)

It looks to me that you have a hard time hitting what you aim for except in GVs.  It has taken me 6 months of hard work to get my hit percentage above 5. I just takes time to get a good eye for the lead for some of us. Others, like that nik can hit a vital part with one round from a long ways out. Last think to remember, if you see him 1k out, he "could" be seeing you at 800.

What range was he at? A 20mm round is not effected by distance (as it's damage comes from the fact that it is High Explosive and not just striking the target) where a .50 cal is.

Or the fact that he can fire 3,6 or 9 pairs of 50 cals depending on where you are!
