not all hamburgers are the same and not all hotdogs are the same. You must choose wisely grasshopper.

Hamburger ------>contains ground beef

Hotdog-------->may or may not contain, beef, beef byproducts, sulphates, pork, pork byproducts, ground offals, snot from the slaughterhouse worker,

What was the question again?

Ahhh...The old Hamburger/Hotdog question?  Just as the chicken and the egg, it will remain timeless and unanswered and for good reason...

A toasted roll with a big fat red hot, smothered in chilli and raw onion

V

A Toasted bun with a half pound of marinated ground beef, melted cheese, crispy lettuce and juicy tomatoe, topped with salt and pepper, raw onion and a shot of mayo.

I'd rather die than choose.

you don't have to buy already ground meat, you can get yourself a machine and grind your own or pick out the cuts you want and have the butcher grind them for you.

Hamburger.

Those quibbling about quality just don't have the self-control or skillz required to ensure their food doesn't suck.

Then again, I skipped the hamburger tonight, in favor of...  a ribeye :)  Yummy.

Go get some grassfeed beef...good ground beef there.

We eat a lot of the turkey/reduced fat dogs with whole grain buns.

Pretty much everything in the fridge has the prefix "Low" "Reduced" or suffix"Free" in it these days  :)

I like both. But, I do have to admit a weak spot for a good ol' gas station hotdog. Back when I drove cross country I developed what I consider to be the perfect "roaddog". Oscar Meyer 1/4 lb all beef dog topped with (in order) mayo, relish, jalapenos, onions, brown mustard and Tabasco.

You are guarenteed to be awake for the next 6 hours after eating one.

Mayo...on a hot dog...now I've seen it all.  It'd keep me up all night for sure...with nausea.

Walter Curnow: Astrodome. Good hot dogs there.
Heywood Floyd: Astrodome? You can't grow a good hot dog indoors. Yankee Stadium. September. The hot dogs have been boiling since opening day in April. Now that's a hot dog.
