I’ve never given this movie consideration because it looks so retarded. I saw it high up on a list of the top 100 children’s movies and was surprised… because it looks so retarded. Well, I saw it at the library today; it’s rated G so I checked it out. I started it for my kids about 20 minutes ago.
I’m stunned. This is a stop-motion claymation twist on The Great Escape, with chickens. The references to The Great Escape are numerous; nearly everything about it is based on WWII POW escape strategies and stories. Even the main character’s coup is #17.
If you have kids, I recommend it. If you’ve seen The Great Escape a dozen times, I recommend it.

It is a good movie

ROFL
OK that`s it.
Gotta go kidnap a Grandkid for justification.
Been wanting to watch that forever. :lol

Same guys who did Wallace & Gromit, right? We loved those as well.

Yup yup.

The kids love Wallace and Gromit. We watched the bunny one (most recent?) and I enjoyed it too. The amount of work that takes to produce is outstanding.
The bunny vacuum was simply hilarious.

Nick Park is a genius.

I really enjoyed that movie, seen it several times

Great movie. Mel Gibson's best work in the last 10 years. :D

"You thievin' little buggers!" :lol

"The Wrong Trousers" is the best W+G. Anything with an evil penguin masquerading as a chicken by putting a rubber glove on his head is golden in my book. :aok
