Title: Eco-Arsonists Strike Again in Seattle to Save the Environment
Post by: SIG220 on March 03, 2008, 03:15:01 PM

The infamous underground organization the Earth Liberation Front ( E.L.F. ) has struck again in Seattle, burning down 3 big expensive multi-million dollar homes that were under construction.

They left writings mocking that the buildings were environmentally friendly "Green".   The builders had actually done numerous things to make the homes "earth friendly", with features such as water-pervious sidewalks, super-insulated walls and windows and products made with recycled materials.  They also were listed as having energy efficient appliances, water-saving toilets and nontoxic paint.  These claims of the 4,000 sq ft homes being "Green" apparently absolutely infuriated the E.L.F

Here is a photo of one of the destroyed homes:

I guess millionaires living in Seattle are going to have to learn how to live inside little huts.  I sure hope Bill Gates has good security at his home, as these houses are nothing compared to his gigantic estate.

Here is a link to a full news article about the arsons:

Did these eco-tards ever stop to think that, by burning down this house its just going to mean more materials will be used to fix the damage?

Tell me again why can't we throw these eco-terrorists into the ecosystem as part of lower end of the food chain?

I wonder if they thought about the ramifications the actual fire causes to the environment?

They're going to have to buy a lot of carbon offsets to make up for that.

This is the organization's official logo, developed by an Artist in Santa Cruz, CA many years ago:

While this underground group originally formed in Santa Cruz, CA about 30 years ago, the two man cities that now have active members are Seattle, WA and Eugene, OR.

The organization claims that the environment has a right to "Self-Defense".   So their acts are justified by them as being purely defensive in nature.

Arson is their main weapon of choice.  Although they have on a few occasions also made small bombs.

think how much CO2 the fires put into the atmosphere, and the water wasted to fight the fires, and the fuel to get the fire trucks to the fires.

bambi would not be happy.

Am i not understanding this correctly?

They are for the inviroment, but they burned down houses that will better help against environment waste.

So.....that means they....burned down there best chance of having a cleaner world, poluted the air with the fire and smoke (and everything else burning) the polution of the ground when the fire hose's water mix's with all the debree and runs into the drain runoff's.

You dont blow up a oil frigget if you want to make a move against shell.

Morons.

Looks like ole Al will have to buy a few more carbon credits to offset the damage to the atmosphere from these fires.

Do the tards not realize that fires pump carbon into the atmosphere?

A little over a year ago a newspaper here in Oregon did an interesting history of the Earth Liberation Front cell that used to operate out of Oregon, until the FBI infiltrated it and busted it up, sending its members to prison.

It details all sorts of things they attacked, from US Forest Service Ranger Stations, to burning logging trucks, to setting fire to neighborhood police stations.

Anyway, if you want to better understand these types and what they are all about, it is a good read.   It was published in 4 parts, which can still be read online.   They even attempted to burn down a gun range in Colorado, but the timed fire bombs they set failed to go off.

Here is a link to Part 1:

And Part 2:

And Part 3:

And finally, Part 4:

Here are photos of some of the arrested Eco-Terrorists.  In a few cases friends provided photos of the person, but in many others, the photo is simply  the police booking photo:

They don't exactly look like top of the gene pool. Why didn't they just go down by the Darwin's path with lesser mess? Unfortunately it looks like they've also managed to reproduce.

They are all apparently the products of white American middle-class families, however.

How did they end up being like this?

I was thinking the same thing.. idiots

on the side note I don't think they cared if the houses were eco friendly or not, from what I saw on the news, their protest was about the location of where the houses were built. They were claiming it was some sort of wild life preserve or something like that.
