I'm trying to install one of Rangers Check6 sounds, but can't seem to find the file that the default check6 is in. Rangers check6 is in the sounds file as it should be. As a matter of fact, it's the only check6 sound I have in there. It's the one where the girl says "excuse me, but I think you screwed up". Or words to that effect. hehe! I've been mixing sound packs for a couple of years now and this one has me stumped.

Just place the check6 in the main sound folder. If you want it in certain planes you can just place it in the specific planes folder.
But the main Check6 call you get in the one in the main sounds folder... :aok

What he said. Just make sure the one you want to use is called check6. Any others you want to save for safe keeping, name check6a, check6b, or whatever. The game only looks for the sound called check6.

ah ha! that's it i bet! I had it in the sound file and then moved to to a few different plane files with the same result. After rangers post i went back and seen it was named check6b. Went in and renamed it check6. Will see if it works tomorrow. Thanks guys :aok
