Title: mini warps

what causes mini warps. not the huge kind but the small ones ie i had a spit on my 6 and suddenly he jumps from 800d to 600d in an instant. could it be something in the film viewer ?.

It's just a hiccup moment on the connection. I have it happen to me alot. It's nothing to serious to worry about, just little warp moments.

It can also be local to your computer. At certain distances image detail expands based on your settings. If this overwhelms your system resources then you'll get a little warp while the system struggles to render the increased detail. Try lowering your setting etc and see if it helps...

Errm.....I might be barking up the wrong tree here, but isn't the laser-ranger supposed to jump from 800 to 600 when the con is at 700?

dont know know hazard, but i do know that last night i was winging w/ a sqdie and for like 3 sorties i had the mini warps

I know the mini warps Uberslet. Its just that the numbers df54 used made me think he thought that the plane was suddenly going from 80 to 600 yards. Sorry about that all. :o
