Nice textures, but please, no BMPs. An even slightly compressed JPG would be only 1/10th of the file size=load time ;)

i haven't posted a pic in this BBS in 7 years. I just noticed the size 3 megs????? Yea i bet you want to skin me alive. No problem i have alot of learning curves to contend with. Attaching photo's was the first test, compression,clarity,and speed will be the next hurdle. Completely understood., TY

You will probably be happy to hear that textures now are generally 512x512. You could probably get away with 1024x1024 as well.

Nuttz, I hope you're still thinking outside of the box. ;)

If you stay within certain boudaries, you'll find you can do a ton of things with the terrain textures without creating objects. Even then the boundaries were able to be stretched the last time I played with textures. But there's been a few revisions since then so some of what I tried may no longer work.
