Spitfire Mk Vb EP464, coded NN-E of No. 310 (Czech) Sqn., RAF, Exeter, July 1942.

Day Fighter scheme of Dark Green and Ocean Grey over Medium Sea Grey.  Codes and fuselage band in Sky, serial in

Night.  White bands around cowling and top of tailplane were an experiment within 11 Group concerning recognition

markings for friendly fighters, and saw use during Operation Jubilee, the Dieppe raid.
