our little cartoon mobile war does sometimes turn to stalemate, so why not keep things perking along and interestiing? im going to take flack for this, but i propose.....mobile AA units, automated, of course, like little bases that can move. what can we call them...battalions, maybe?
The difference between theese and regular bases, is that nothing can be spawned from them, and that they can be moved freely about the map, like land CV's

Even though the game has "creative" maps, three sides, chess pieces for "nationalities" and non-historical plane match-ups in the MA, I still have a suspician that HTC doesn't feel like wasting it's time modeling too much out of the realm of actual WWII equipment that saw action. ;)

haha
im not saying they would literaly be huge ships sailing on land, im saying thier AA function could be somethink like it

I hate when the land bases turn when I'm landing! :furious

Hats, this would just be something else avoided. Flak is most effective when it's defending a target, not driving around out in the middle of nowhere, with no planes to shoot at.

Maybe it could be an Armor or Artillery Battalion the moves and deploys on the ground, could spawn gvs and have manned guns, like single 5 inch and 37mm.

Who can resist. This will break through the lines.

I would drop in behind it from 3k in my A20G pickle four five hundred's and roar past the mech pilots view just as his world turns to %^@#. :rock

Nice, I used to love MW4 I have all the expansions to it still. What is that a pic of, seems to be a MadCat. I still prefer the Daishi as far as assault mechs go, I am a fan of Clan tech over Inner Sphere with the exception of X-Pulse lasers.

Daishi was unstoppable, Madcat was fierce, but the Uziel...now that took some finesse.

I wish Mechwarrior was still alive. :( Darn this new generation and their inane obsession with plotless shooters! I have many MANY a fond memory of various reincarnations of Mechwarrior.

I was more into the assault / heavy mechs. But you are right an Uziel outfitted with the proper mix of clan weponry was tough in the hands of a capable pilot. Just out of curiosity what was the last mech pack you had? I had MW4, MW4 Black knight, Clan mech pack, Inner Sphere mech pack, and the mech packs released 3rd party that had the ultra light mechs in it. (It goes without saying I also own MW3, the Expansion to MW3, MW2 Mercinaries, and MechCommander2) I am a mech head from way back in MW2 Ghostbear's legacy or about there. If you wanna play MW4 some time lemme know, I will gladly install it again.
