HTC needs to start subbing out aircraft and vehicle creation to the highly dedicated community. This is just taking too long to get updated cockpits and new aircraft. It would decrease the workload on HTC, make the community and players much happier, and give us a modern game.

I am awaiting this birds arrival, but I am looking forward to plugging it full of Mk.108 30mm shells more. :t

The Ki-84's cockpit seriously needs an overhaul, as it's nowhere close to the standard of the other updated aircraft.

have you looked in planes like the lanc, stuka, ta152, 262, 163, ki61,ki67, err list is endless
Ki84 is one of the NEWER cockpits.

It's newer but it wouldn't take too much effort to have the skin of the cockpit redone to look as good as the current batch of new rides.

True, It would streamline the process, but I can think of a couple of reasons' right off the top of my head as to why he keeps it in-house;
1). Accuracy. Any disputes' over the FM's of player-contributed aircraft could become down-right nasty.
2). Access to the coad. All you would need is for HTC's basic source code to hit the mainstream, and a little bit of time, before you saw people manipulating whatever they wanted to in the game. It would make it a hackers' playground. No thanks.
While I agree that it would be better to see the game catch up to other sims' in terms of planeset, I believe that now that they have some extra help, in the form of Waffle, they are able to get some things' out the door sooner. It would be too hard to ride herd on literally thousands' of people with access to the source code, though.

I've never seen a new plane released before :D :D
Well it is not a big deal once it's released...you just see mass hordes/missions of the new A/C or GV, and nothing else...
