Title: Seahawks pick up Julius Jones
Post by: Ripsnort on March 08, 2008, 06:40:16 PM
I was never impressed with either one of the Cowboys RB's (Barber being the better of the two) I would say that Jones will compete for Marice Morris's position at relief RB. Alexander still has his starting position. Jones will add the same dimension (slashing style RB) as Morris has/had. Jones is an improvement over Morris though, I'll give him that much.

I was more impressed with Seattle picking up T.J. Duckett from Detroit (former 1st round draft pick 4 years ago, with the Falcons I believe) for those 3 and 1, 4th and 1 situations that we just couldn't convert this past season. Nothing like a 255 lb. back hitting the line on 4th and 1 to let you know someones home for endzone dinner!

He's got no heart. You'll figure that out for yourself soon enough.

That 3 fumbles on 204 carries stat stands out. That's very high. 2006 wasn't a bad season. 2005 was yet another 3 fumbles for low carries.

Sounds like sour grapes, he was your leading rusher 3 of the past 4 seasons.
Good news is, we get to play you this upcoming season. Let's see how Mr.Jones does against his former team, if *Alexander continues to be injury plagued again...(*broken foot 2006, broken hand 2007...)

No sour grapes. That's been said about him since his second season. Maybe we were just spoiled from watching Emmitt, who had nothing but heart.

Emmitt is a tough act to follow.
