that is a word used by the geeks that means more or less; becoming obsolete.  read it for yourself http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deprecation

It is a moment that has vanished into the ether. It's relevence has past not unlike that of the dinosaur. Gone forever but leaving few clues behind to mark it's trail and make man wonder just what the **** happened.
