Why is it that no one ever sees a LIVE armadillo....?????
I've seen plenty of live armadillos while hunting.
-
Well....yeah :lol
But the averge Joe around these parts has only seen dead ones.
As an AFLAC man I travel a lot...around here ya see a LOT of deer (duh), coyotes, wild turkeys, wild boar, bobcats, snakes (all kinds), red foxes, possums.....and sometimes, unidentified swamp wooly boogers (i.e. Legend of Bogie Creek).

The dead ones are a result of cullin the herd....more like Darwins slow animals of the year awards.
Like moths to a flame, opossums and armadillos are attracted to high speed rubber and asphalt.
It keeps them honest and sets them free.
:D
