Title: Thicker ceilings

ceilings that are several thousand feet thick, variable

or at least more than the apparent 2 feet thick ceilings with instantaneous coming out on top that we have  now

I think its done that way for game play. If you want weather you should have flown the last FSO's. The weather was so thick I had to file an IFR clearance! Visibilty had to be down in the 3-4 mile range!
