Title: See rule #11
Post by: BlauK on March 09, 2008, 01:25:30 PM
Was #11 about signature?

Hmmm... "deprecated"  :huh  ... Sure, I'll try avoiding it.

My guess would be "depreciated" if we want to get that fancy.
Or maybe I'm totally lost  :uhoh ...again.

"Deprecated:(adj.) Used typically in reference to a computer language to mean a command or statement in the language that is going to be made invalid or obsolete in future versions."

I'm still confused.

Or, more widely used in the definition of home values in the US right now.

Rule 11 is no longer valid?

Maybe it's no longer valid because there is a limit now on the number of characters.

Used the be the rule on signatures, now with the character limit and 5 carriage return limit the rule is no longer needed, it is enforced electronically.

(Not in any way intended to change subject)

I think it's kind of cool that technology can supercede and make a rule obsolete.

I can't figure out what to do with all this signature space...I thought it was taboo to but a graphic in the sig line?

Now if we can just figure out how rules 5 and 15 are all that different.

If you look under "redundant" in the dictionary, it says "see redundant".
