I have an X800 video card which has always given me great graphics and frame rates. A few days ago I logged in and noticed that my graphics had deteriorated visibly. I have not changed any settings in the game and checked to make sure of that. Basically when I look at any straight lines, like mountains, they have a "hacksaw" appearance, instead of a smooth line to them. (hope that explains it good enough).
Can anyone tell me what has happened and better still, how to get my original graphics back?
thanks

A few days ago you logged in? Does that mean you've been gone for a long time?
Also, are we talking mountains right next to you, or the ones off on the horizon?

Try hitting Shift F1 in the game, you may have changed the view setting.

He may be talking about the horizon jaggies which showed up when they redid the terrain tiles. There is nothing that can fix these, and they are quite ugly.
However, if it's something else, there may be a workaround for it.

Sorry, didn't explain too well.
Firstly I had only been 'gone' about a week.
It's not just the mountains, (I was using those as an example), but most straight lines have a jagged appearance to them now.
It wasn't the F1 button, I made sure I was on the right view setting. I seem to remember ages ago someone saying something about 'Anti Aliasing' making jagged lines disappear, but I believe that was a setting on the video card, not in the game.

I think you need to post a screenshot, if you can.
