You want 18-19 inches... are you serious??? It's too big. You might as well upgrade your current PC...
$3,000 to $4,000 laptop just for gaming??? No need to spend that much. PC gaming these days are NOT as graphic intense as PS3s. Ideal laptops should be 12/14/15 inches.

check out dell XPS
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=04&kc=6W300&l=en&oc=bycwpcz&s=bsd
Dell lets you customize the specs, add more options, etc. If i were you, i'll pick windows XP OS, and a faster hard drive (7200 rpms). Don't plan getting memory upgrades from dell, you can get cheaper memory at newegg.com

I shy away from Dell products.
I hope your using this machine because your always mobile somewhere. To just use it at home is a waste of money.

I got a Dell business-class laptop. It's treating me very well so far.
The laptop has very tough casing, it's made of magnesium alloy instead of plastic.
It doesn't look VERY attractive but I'm confident that it should last me for ~6 years with no hardware failure.
It's also cheaper than most Dell consumer-grade laptops (the ones you get at Best Buy, Circuit City) because it lacks bloatware/trialware.
My dell cost me $866 with customized options. The options i got from Dell could easily cost more than ~$1,400 on other consumer-grade laptops.

A friend's MacBook laptop recently had it's hard drive just up and die. The computer was only 14 months old.
All data on the disk was lost.
Fortunately he had a bunch of important things like family photos backed up. But he lost a ton of emails, address book data, and appointment calendar records.

You can get what you want when you build it, for everything else there's www.dell.com
(No guarantees that it will be outstanding.)

Are you a LOLgamer? Because you type/spell like a lolcat enthusiast.
You might note that pretty much nobody else seems to spell that way in these forums, and you will be taken more seriously if you don't deliberately butcher the language. It makes your posts difficult to read, and therefore annoying.
As for the "shades" comment, someone with a very low post count using an intentionally faddish posting style is sometimes another forum user attempting to disguise their posting style. That is just inviting people to speculate about what you are hiding and make snide remarks about your grammar and spelling.
If it works, go ahead and keep doing your thing. But don't complain when you get the negative or off-topic responses you ought to expect when you use lolspeak grammar in a forum frequented by people who generally do not also do that.

More than likely if he still has the drive, the data can be recovered... if not all at least most.

No, I'm pretty sure it displeases anybody above the age of 14. Some people are just nice enough to try to help you through your "mastery" of insults and lack of mastery of the English language.
No, this isn't a job interview, but you might have one some day. Practice makes perfect, after all.
