Title: Jericho
Post by: rpm on March 11, 2008, 10:09:27 PM
Anyone watching? Man, this is good stuff!! The last two episodes should be great.
I really hope they add another season and rebuild the cast.

I've been meaning to see it for a long time.  It's on my list, and then I can discuss.   :)

New episodes (only 2 left) are Monday at 9. Reruns on UHD and downloads at cbs.com.

Stanley capped the sorry SOB that killed his little sister tonight. Great show!!!

The last 2 episodes are going to be greatness. I hope CBS will give us another season. We should find out in a few weeks.

I think there is going to be a next season.  There is no way they can wrap this up properly in two more episodes.

Plus, if you watch the trailers on TV, they say, the last two episodes of the "SEASON", not "SERIES", which leads me to believe they are at least planning for next year.  BOOYA!!

Even my wife is into the show.  What was really great was when Stanley put the pistol up to Geotz's head, and my wife mutters under her breath... "DO IT!".        I have to remember not to piss her off.  This show appears to be bringing out a mean streak that I didn't know she had :D

It is a great show.

MY girlfriend loves the show..  I like it too even tho it is frustrating.  I think the people were unrealistically naive in the first season but they seem a little more real in season two.

I had heard that season two was done before the show was canceled and brought back so a season three was never planned.

I rented season one last year and that is probly the way to see the series..  I really hate the commercials.

It`s pretty good watching even with all the sniff sniff included.
Easy to get hooked on.
What interests me the most I think is that the scenario is not that far fetched in todays world.

Laz pick you up a DVR and smite them pesky commercials. :)

My son downloads episodes off of the X-Box (who knew you could do that?). I've been a little bit interested in it. Although, I always want to slap the blonde gal ~ she's always got a confused look on her face.

:rofl So much could be said on that subject.....................b ut I won`t. :)
I think they could work a little on Jake`s facial expressions in the intense scenes. In times of confrontation he always reminds me of a deer in the headlights.

jackal.. I record them on my DVD recorder and then play em the next day.. I have a 30 sec zap feature but it is still annoying as hell.

I wonder how anyone could watch any program with the commercials intact.. How could you even get into the program?

I'm sure they will have another season.  CBS had canceled the show once already, but there were so many fans that got upset and complained to CBS that they were convinced to bring it back, you don't see that happen very often.

The bad thing is ratings are down from last year when it got canned.

That scene was great. The two towns argueing over who got to take Goetz back and Stanley just walks up while they are yapping and POP!
Ya'll can have him now. :aok

Agreed. Some of the shows on now you could mow the lawn while the commercials were on.

what?  ratings are down?  I guess that is to be expected.  I can't believe that people like some "reality" show where everyone is wearing mics and there are cameras everywhere or some show where bad singers and dancers butcher music in front of a bunch of "judges".

I guess the thing is.. the attention span thing.. any thing with any drama or tension can't work with 14 commercials for mens hard on pills after every 5 minutes of air time.. that would be no problem for the comedies or reality thingies.   I wonder how "Dexter" is doing on regular tv..   I can't imagine how bad it must seem with commercials.

Dexter is not doing as well on network as they had hoped. It's mostly the subject matter. I agree the commercials and the "clean up" they had to do to air it hurt. I can't see how they will be able to show any of Season 2 with Lila without reshooting a bunch of scenes.

rpm.. I have not seen Dexter on regular commercial tv but...

How could you get into it with all the silly donut commercials that they have?  I just don't think that it could be done.

Sadly... "survivor" type shows where no real surviving is involved and "talent" shows where no real talent is involved and.. situation comedies where the punch line never has to wait for the commercial to end and the "plot" is not really the reason.. are all that can work on commercial tv.

sienfeld figured it out way back when.. the only thing that will work on commercial tv is

"a show about nothing"

I agree Lazs. I don't watch "reality" shows. and I also have a DVR so I can skip thru the annoying buggers.

Sorry, straffo. You do know episodes are available for download at cbs.com, right?

They might have them on CBS website to watch, I know they have them on "On Demand" to watch whenever you want.

Edit: Ah I see RPM beat me to it.
