I quess I live in a different world Joe.  I don't bash anyone, and I "attempt" to come off as a good sport.  My first response in this thread was one of looking forward to more opposition in the arena.  BUT as long as your derranged puppy keeps latched to my ankle things will only get uglier and uglier.  Your his CO.  If a member of JG11 behaved the way he did, he'd be looking for a new squad pronto.  You reap what you sew.

 I have been testing a VPN software called Hamachi. It is a free software that lets you run IP based software over the internet without having to open ports in routers and such. You can even play the 8 player Aces High again on your own system to fly with other people. Testing (works great) WOV and F-16 Falcon.
The best part is the software is free!

I haven't played SFP1/WOV since I got my new rig which has Vista for an OS. I miss those sims, but they just won't run with Vista..


Duke found this patch on a USN Squadron Emblem website. I don't know if it's authentic or not.

It's not, that one came from another squadron after WW2 if I remember right.

When we originally started VF-27 (over a hundred years ago it seems like  :confused: ) I wrote the Navy Historical Department and found out what the original insignia looked like. The photo below is of one of the squadron's "Original" patches from a collection owned by the USN Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola:

Actually, Hamachi is a VPN software that enables an extension of your network via a private connection (or connections).  Therefore, everything could be classified as "Local Area Netork play" with a max of 8 people. 

It's not an H2H room, it's the 8 player free mode meant for a local LAN- the VPN software merely extends this private network- at a very high security risk for the host. 

My $.02
