Title: P-47 Data block...
Post by: JeepinAZ on March 12, 2008, 11:00:03 PM
Does anyone have a good photo of the manufacturer's data block off a P-47? I've been looking online & through all my stuff with no luck (turns out when the guys were taking the cool shots of themselves posed next to their beloved Jug it was a rule that they had to cover up the data block for national security) [/sarcasm]

is 200lb the limit for crew? seems a bit low for a 6+ tonne aircraft with a loadout of over a tonne  :huh

Upon further inspection, that wouldn't be Hun Hunter XVI would it? Doesn't she fly around with a D-40 painted in Wicked Wabbit also? I wanted to do Hun Hunter for my first skin but turns out, not actually a combat ship. I have Thunderbolt on VHS & the 57th & tear up everytime when it gets to the part where they spread out & start straffing on their own. My all time favorite line in any movie is when he's straffing buildings, cars, fields & he comes across some guy walking across a farm field. Line goes as follows: "Who is that in that field over there? [.50cals x8 fire] No friend of mine!"

Yep that is both of them.  They put on quite a show at Columbus.
