Nice  :aok

Any study I (or my kids) have been really interested in has been a direct result of a teacher who clearly loves his subject(s).

Yeah it really helps when the teacher is enthusiastic about what he or she teaches. I remember taking a conceptual physics class (just for fun) taught by Paul G. Hewitt. Absolute blast of a class. He presented it such that I could not help but love physics. Our classroom was at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

Good for him, it's great that someone is willing to toss out the normal paradigm to teach.

The key to successful teaching is making it interesting.
If its interestng you willl hold peoples attention.
Hold their attention and they absorb more.

Damn shame more teachers dont get that

Seems like a great teacher but from the video it seems like the material is more suited for high schoolers, not physics students at MIT.

You really need to find your english/grammar teachers and slap the living crap out of them. Really.
