Title: How about LCP?
Post by: hulk31st on March 15, 2008, 04:01:20 PM
How about landing craft with 45+ troops?

Would be available from CV groups, beach on shore and release hordes of running grunts (not to be confused with grinning runts) to run inland to the map room for a capture?

HT has stated in the past he has no issues with this, as long as you don't mind the number of troops required for capture to go up accordingly.

The number of troops going up is a good thing, 10 troops it too easy at times.  Plus more landing craft means more fodder for my Luftwaffe Guns to gobble up.  :P

Another idea is an LCM loaded with two M3s (and their cargo be it troops or supplies), two M16s, one medium tank (no tiger) or full of 60 troops. That way  you launch an LCM and take on two "gunners" who drive the two M3s or whatever. You hit the beach and they drive off whatever GV is on to deliver supplies/troops. Or if its a tank, same thing.

I like this idea!   If I drop that big fat STUKA egg on the LCM before it gets to shore do I get 3 kills? PERK farming  :rock   But seriously .....The LCM idea sounds like a lot of fun!
