Title: Film viewer question

I went back to do some screen shots from fridays FSO and was presented with blue skys instead of the gray that we had.  Any ideas on the cause of this and how to fix it?
Also how does the day night rotation work.  In going back through my Rabaul snapshot film I have to catch it when its dark.  Seems the time changes the light conditions on the film relative to the actual time

Any help appreciated.
