Title: Is it possibleto use two monitors??
Post by: fastfed on March 16, 2008, 05:14:04 PM
Basically, I have two monitors but if I set it to the max res. on ACES HIGH 2, I am stuck having the center being the crosshair. I want it to be the left monitor to be the plane and right be the map or other stuff.

Is it possible? If so how?

THANKS!!!!

Nope, not as far as I'm aware.

Aces High can only be run on one monitor to prevent people from gaining an advantage. That and I think their code base works better that way. Seems like AH stretches to fit rather than actually adjust resolution.

I did have a second monitor attached once, had the field maps in the on the MS photo/picture viewer displayed on the second monitor, but the pc had a hiccup and i removed the second video card....

EDIT: BTW i was not viewing the clipboard on the second monitor, but jpgs of the field maps....

With Matrox triplehead you can spread your display over three monitors, eliminating that crosshair problem. It basically creates one ultrawide screen.

$300 is quite the price for those little wonders.
