Title: Graphics issues

I am curious. I have been having graphics issues, or, I think I am anyways, at sea level.  when i am in the boat or even flying my plane at less than 50 ft, I get real bad white patches like it might be fog, but i would like to assume its not.  It is extemely dificult to see and most of all to use the guns on the boats.

I am running an nvidia 6800 gt oc,  I have attempted to dl the latest  patches but when I do, my card crashes, which nvidia has yet to get back to me on.

Anyone have a clue as to what I might do to fix this?

I have that same VC and have no issues with it at all mate. Open your NVidia control panel and set it to performance. try the game again if the problem still exists set it more to the visual side of the house and try it again.

I use the following driver for my card:

Nvidia 6800 GS/XT
Version: 6.14.11.6218
Dated: 6/29/2007

What version is your current driver, something tells me that you are downloading the wrong driver.

Try installing that driver and restarting your machine. That should work.

I apologize, I lied, I have the 7600 GT and nvidia told me that the 169.21 is the only driver out right now, however they are finalizing a beta 169.44 that they did give me the link for to try if I wished.

I will give a try to your suggestion Dave.

The latest NVidia drivers have been pretty problematic for 7000 series and earlier.

yes i have a 6200 and went back to the drivers on the disc it came with fixed most of my problems with crashes.

Seems to be a common problem with the Video wars that are going on at the moment.

Could you pretty please :D upload the drivers onto rapidshare or something so I can get em too. I have a NVidia 6200TC and have some problems with the latest and greatest drivers. Or is there someplace I can download earlier NVidia driver versions?? :salute

As far as I am aware of, NVidia keeps all of thier previously released drivers on thier WEB page under the archive section of the downloads page.
