Offline practice when they become available"

So any of you guys who aren't at work...are there practice modes installed with the update, or is that for later use?

Interesting to note that the bomber drone changes prevent rearming the entire box. Never knew anyone actually did this  (I mostly see bomb-n-bail  :t)..wonder why it was put in?

The drones would stay where they were if you landed them. You could taxi to a field, land the drones, take off, circle, and your gunner could vulch, or, you could rearm and your drones would just hang out at your field, inviting KS by friendlies, or easy kills to anyone who wandered by.

Yea I thought it was the hi res texture pack at first, but the P39 is missing lots of textures.. I don't think it actually has a skin because the colors arent' right.

If you look at it on the runway in 3rd person there is no texture.. it's just a 3d model

Well, I was able to download with no problems and the installation went quickly.  The only problem now is that it will not run.  It starts like always and then gets to the tower where it freezes and the exterior view is dark grey.  Frame rate is "0" and it locks up the computer so I have to do a hard boot.  The new features look great in print, maybe I will get to see them some time.  I upgraded the video drivers and it still is not working correctly.  Bummer

Nope, just tried the C-hog offline and the gunsights are still the same size. New c-hog interior is the same as -1A and -D models now. However, the Dark skin has some issues, right wing has engine skin. Weird.

Lynx: On every nvidia card I've used in this game, there is "sawing" where the texture saws into the terrain behind it. I'm guessing this fixes it for hangars at least.

As far as I understand, that's related to z-buffer issues.

A fix is a nice surprise :)

Does this also cause the saw-tooth textures that pop up on objects-vs-ground display?

That's actually an awesome fix - I've had that issue for a long, long time over the course of both an ATI Radeon 9600 and x800 vid card.  Shore batteries, hangars, and other random objects would seem 'pinstriped' and wonky.  Looks good now. :)

Love the update. Just 1 question. I am running the Hi res pack and now I seem to have some graphic lag. What is the best way to fix this? Also are there plans to perk the Wirblewind? I ain't gonna run an osti anymore unless the wirbl. is perked.
