Title: hi res pack

i have a 20" wide screen, and im using a resolution of 1680x1050.

should i download the high res pack?

yes anything over 1200 odd its worth it.

i run my 22" at that res and it looks schweet  :D

That is really up to you and if you find the overall performance degradation acceptable.  In order to use the high resolution texture pack, you must set the "Maximum Texture Size" in the game's "Video Settings" to 1024.

To disable the high resolution texture package, simply reduce the "Maximum Texture Size" to anything less than 1024.

Got a question about the new hires pack.
I have ran with the old hires pack for the last couple of mornings and it seems OK.
What are the differences between the two and would it be beneficial to DL the new one?

The new one has the uddated textures for the planes we reworked as well as the new textures for all the things we added.

If you sent it passed 5pm CST yesterday, I am still going through the email.  If you sent it over 24 hours ago, but have not heard back from me, it is due to me not getting it.
