Aces High has many vehicles to choose from. From Aircraft, to ground vehicle, to even the PT boat. This gives the players a variety of ways to play the game. It also is a great simulation of how WWII worked. But there is one major component missing here...INFANTRY! I have heard many players claim that infantry would increase the enjoyment of playing the game alot. Think about it, right now the computer controls the troops. And all they do is walk (slide) to the map room. Think about how much more strategic options we can have if we control the troops. How many troops should we control. I dont know it could be from 1-10. This is just i thought myself and other players have had in the game. Please reply what you think. Remeber Aces High is not just a flight simulator, its a combat simulator of WWII. Time to add troops :rock

the game isnt programmed to be an FPS.  and if u want to control troops, bail out and walk around, and u will very quickly c that its not a good idea in this game.

Battlefield games, Red Orchestra, WW2 Online, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Brothers in Arms. If you want FPS Infantry games then those are just a few. Aces High 2 isn't going to be one of them, or atleast not for a VEEEERY long time.

Play red orchestra for that, it's awesome. Until you can say that AH has a chance to match that type of infantry combat, then why even bother?

Remeber Aces High is not just a flight simulator, its a combat simulator of WWII. Time to add troops :rock

I don't remember this, actually. Refresh my memory, when was this said and by whom?

i dont think it should be an FPS BBBUUUTTT i think in place of the "set converge" button make it a button that for JUST M-3s and SdFks you can control where each troop will enter the town and make it so you set waypoints for each troop, controlling the path that each troop takes to get to the maproom

Think im joking?

Why bother implementing runing/walking or a up & down view angle for a .45 pistol? Limited to shooting another pilot on flat ground.

We can run, walk shoot, only thing we cannot do right now is select weapons, Jump and reload.

the up and down angle for pistols is so i can shoot people down whike in my chute

If they were to add infantry then, they would have request for there to be buildings to run into, trenches, weapons, m/g nest and etc. To much to ask for imo.
