Check out you tubes restored Jagdpanther firing. It's pretty awesome. There are also short clips on restored Tiger tanks rolling along. I believe you just type firing jagdpanther in the search and it should come up/

It would be quite different with some back pressure caused by a grenade?
The gun would recoil and the tank would shudder and it would not be too pleasant to observe close by. ;)

What are you a teacher? What's with the C+? We realize that the round shot was a blank and most likely not even the correct amount of powder in the case so why the :cry If you know German military history at all you know that the german panzer grenaders worked very close with AFV's and were around when main guns were fired. I thought that watching a JadgPanther driving and firing would be a rather cool thing to see not to be critisized about how real the recoil or sound is, what did you think that they would really fire off a live round? I give your post a D for Dumb !

That was pretty cool. :aok I really liked seeing the King Tiger rolling around but man was it me or did the engine sound in desperate need of a tune-up?
-
Bigplay, the C is just his signature, and there's nothing condescending about noting to anyone who didn't know better that the sound would've been different had there been something in front of the charge.
It's a pertinent comment because it'd look more authentic and probably a lot cooler.

pretty good, oh and Charge's posts have been in my posts too, I thought he just thought everyone was doing things wrong. :lol

Maybe the mufflers are in need of repair don't know but it is rather poppy. Inthink that's a Tiger 1 not a king Tiger from the film I watched.

? I was kind of wondering if it really was a King tiger as i watched the Tiger clip and they looked fairly identical to me also. Not sure if it was just junk mufflers or plugs but it sounded pretty nasty with all the popping. BTW did anyone watch the special on, think it was the history channel, about the guy in england ? that buys old armored gv's of all types and restores them? Was pretty cool. :aok

I saw the King Tiger clip. It seemed to be running fine bit the Tiger 1 sounds like it's missing a little.
